Lauren Sorrentino
Our founding father
Worldwide television celebrity, Lauren Sorrentino has made her mark in the entertainment industry with her debut on the record-breaking show Jersey Shore Family Vacation. During her time on Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Lauren married her college sweetheart, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino. As one of MTV’s most popular series, the reboot is now in its sixth season. In May of 2021, the couple welcomed their her first child, Romeo Reign Sorrentino, and recently welcomed their daughter, Mia Bella Sorrentino in January 2023.
Prior to her life on screen, Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and was a fashion buyer for a luxury retailer. After interning at Chanel in Business Planning, she later worked in the buying offices at Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and Macys. Most recently, in March of 2022, Lauren launched her widely successful skincare brand, Skincare By Laurens.
Always having an eye for fashion, in 2022 Lauren approached friends Gwendolyn Esposito and Michelle Winston on the idea of opening a boutique together bringing sophistication and clean feminine styles to her hometown area - and Bijoux Boutique was born.

Our founding father
Gwendolyn Esposito, a local entrepreneur, always had an eye for fashion thanks to her mom. Although her plans of attending Berkeley Collage for Fashion were cut short because of her first pregnancy, it did not stop her. She later decided to take a different route with Nursing School and worked at Monmouth Medical Center. After a year, she quickly realized she was craving more creativity in the beauty world and enrolled in an Esthetician program where she graduated first in her class.
During the global pandemic in 2020, Gwendolyn decided to take a risk and bring her dream to life by opening up her first woman’s retail clothing store in Red Bank, NJ. In August of 2021, Gwendolyn partnered with her cousin, Victoria Russo, and opened their own medical spa, GlowDoll Skin. When friend, Lauren Sorrentino, presented the idea of opening a new boutique in 2022, it was a no brainer.
